Here is the final list of what competitions we are doing and when. We had a meeting about it today and the girls know why we are doing all three of our invitational s in December and we as a team decided it was what was best for us. so that when we get back from Christmas break our only focus is being perfect for Region and State. We have plans to go watch the rocky mountain invitational in January as a team because I believe you learn so much from just watching. We will also be attending a UVU basketball game and will be going to the Cyprus vs. Hillcrest basketball game at Hillcrest to scope out the floor and get a feel for the facilities so its not foreign to us. December 4th and 5th - Herriman High School
December 11th and 12th - Juan Diego High School
December 18th and 19th - Copper Hills High School
I know this takes up every weekend in December before Christmas but with the new ruling of only allowing 30 teams max comps will be getting over earlier so hoping we are out of each comp by 4-5 on Saturdays at the latest so you still have time to spend with family or have holiday parties. Solo comps are on Fridays and I require the entire team to go together we get a bus and make it a fun night. These also wont be as long and will excuse some girls for legit excuses not just because you want to go on a date, hang out at home , etc.
You Will Have The Full Two Weeks For Christmas Break Off - When We Get Back Its Go Time and Our Only Focus Is How To Be Our Absolute Best For Region.
Region - Saturday January 23rd - Hillcrest
State - February 5th - UVU
