Tuesday Performance Schedule

Please arrive to the school at 5:30 with hair slicked in a low straight pony. Black and Blue practice tank on under warm ups with gold hip hop shoes. We are doing comp make up with gold glitter so please come with everything including lashes on except gold glitter. I am going to have all seniors do flag since its senior night so please arrive a little before 5:30 to set that and review really quick. We will do blood alley around 6:40. Then senior will do flag. After we will go get ready for hip hop so make sure to wear tan tights and black spandex under your blue Spinnaker sweats with gold high tops and black and blue practice tank. We will perform around 7:40. After you girls perform any parents wanting to help decorate for review or our banquet are welcome to stay after for a quick planning meeting. Trip Itinerary and Packing List

I am so excited. 4 more days and we will be headed to sunny California. Here is our detailed schedule and packing list. Can't wait!!

Wednesday: Bus will arrive at Cyprus High School at 10:00 pm. We will load the bus get situated and plan on leaving between 10:15-10:30 pm.

                  Arrive in clothes that are comfy that you can sleep in. Make sure you pack a little bag of things to keep you entertained on the bus and treats because we will only make one stop and that's to change drivers. There is supposedly WIFI on the bus, DVD player with TV, Outlets, Comfy Seats, and a restroom. Make sure to bring a pillow and blanket too,

Thursday:
                Arrive in downtown Hollywood around 8:00 am. We will be eating breakfast at a really yummy contemporary restaurant called Kitchen24 it is close to the studio we are dancing at and is a favorite among the locals. The prices are also great from what the reviews said.

             At 9:00am we will load the bus and head to the Edge Performing Arts Center. We will arrive about 45 minutes early so we can get all checked in and you girls can stretch. Here are the classes you are taking.

                                                         10:00 am: Intermediate Ballet with Corina Kinnear
                                                         11:30 am : Jazz 4 with Sabrina Phillips
                                                         1:00 pm: Hip Hop with Havic
                                                         2:00 pm : You will have 20 minutes for a lunch break remember you need to pack this lunch with you because we wont have time to go anywhere. Pack lots of healthy snacks and water as well please.
                                                         2:30 pm: Contemporary Jazz with Stacey Tookey
                                                         4:00 pm: Jazz Funk with Nika Kjun
                                                         5:30 pm: Done With Classes

              At 6:00 pm we will head into downtown Hollywood and walk around for a little bit and eat as a team at the California Pizza Kitchen.

             At 8:30 pm we will head down to Anaheim. Get checked into our hotel, and spend the rest of the night at the hotel bonding and relaxing.


Friday: At 9:30 you need to have eaten breakfast and be ready to go because we are leaving at 9:40 am to head over to Disneyland. Remember it is required you stay with a chaperone the entire time while at Disneyland. You are on your own for lunch and then we will talk about a place for dinner and all meet up. You are not allowed to leave Disneyland with out talking to me about it and you make sure you are going with a chaperone if you have to go back to the hotel.

Satruday: Is a repeat of  Friday

Sunday: Wake up, pack up, eat breakfast, and check out by 12:00 pm then head over to hunnington beach and have some fun over there. Then we will go to the huge shopping center not far away and just do some shopping and eat dinner until we can leave at 9:00 pm.

Monday: Arrive to Cyprus at 6:30 am

Clinics: March 10th, 11th, 12th, From 6:30-8:00 pm
For Whom: Any Children Between The Age of 3-14
Performance: March 13th 6:30pm at Spinnaker Review
Clinic Place: Cyprus High School Meet In Main Gym
Performance Place: Cyprus High School Main Gym

Cost: $25.00per child or $45.00 for family

  (2 or more children from the same immediate family)

*This cost also includes their T-shirts they will be receiving the night of the performance.



Sign Ups: March 4th & 6th 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the front of the dance room at Cyprus High School. Money and shirt size needed at time of sign ups. If you will not be able to make it to sign ups but would still like to participate email Natalie Christensen at n.christensen13@gmail.com and we can work out a time.

Important Dates and Info

Dear Spinnies I hope you are resting up. Here are some important dates you need to get on your calendars and some info for the rest of the year.

Practices: We will still practice every B day morning after this week to get ready for Review. From 7:00-8:30 am. We need to review some of our dances from football and you girls need to work on your class routines. Drill isn't over we still have games to dance at, our awesome team trip, and Review. This is all fun stuff so no stressing just making memories. Until we go on our trip we will still have some tuesday and thursday night practices once again to work on routines and so you girls can also make up your mini spinnie routine. Here is the following night schedule for this month.  February 11th 6:30-8:30 pm, February 13th no night practice. February 14th we are dancing at the boys and girls game that night. I know its Valentines Day what better way to spend it that with your drill family xoxo.February 18th 6:30-8:30, February 20th 6:30-8:30 February 25th Dancing at the boys game this night. This is their Senior night so we will be doing blood alley as well. That will be the last night game and practice.

Team Trip: We will be leaving February 26th at 10:00 pm from Cyprus High School and will return March 3rd around 7:00 am.

Fundraising: There are still Spa Cards you can sale but I also wanted to let you girls know now that we sale adds for our Spinnaker review. Every girl is required to sale 1 $25.00 add. Anything over that goes towards your account. This is an easy fundraiser so I wanted you to know now so you can get out and start making money to pay off the rest of your trip. When you go to the businesses or anyone that might want to put something in our program tell them this program is for our Spinnaker Review and hundreds of people will see it. If they want to advertise on 1/4 of a page it is $25.00. 1/2 a page is $50.00. 1 full page is $100.00. I need all ads turned in before we go on our trip so I can get the program finalized when we get back. Some of you could pay off your trip easy with this, so get to work and make sure they give you exactaly what they want in the program or that they email it to me. n.christensen13@gmail.com. Thanks let me know if you have any questions. Your parents can do ads, grandparents, anyone that wants to show support or advertise so ask everyone and you could make some awesome money. xoxo

Mini Spinnies and Review: Mini Spinnie Clinics will be held March 10th-12th from 7:00-8:30 pm but you girls are required to be there at 6:30. We will do sign ups March 4th and 6th 6:30-8:30 pm. I will give you girls flyers before we go on our trip to hand out and to get advertising. Review will be on March 13th at 6:30 pm. Just keep that whole day open because you girls will be there from like 4:00 to when its over.

Banquet: We haven't planned a set date but it will be the week following review.

Tryouts: I am sorry girls but we need to get tryouts in before spring break so returners you will only get a week off before you tryout again but I promise you have  the whole month of April and part of May off, so enjoy our slow season. Tryout clinics will be March 24th and 25th from 5:30-8:30 pm. Tryouts will be the 26th starting at 4:00pm

I think that covers everything minus the details for review and mini spinnies and banquet which will come later. Love you girls and still am so proud of your hard work this year and the season you had. This team will forever hold a special place in my heart and I dont want it to end so I am going to enjoy every minute of these last 5 weeks I have with you. xoxox
