Dear Parents I am sorry it has taken so long to get you your statements but I have been trying to help your girls' out and went back and switched the jazz games from right after tryouts to individual fundraisers instead of team to help the girls out. Friday Performance

Hey Ladies Please Make Sure You Are Prepared In Every Way For Friday So It Can Be A Fun Day Spent With Each Other. Please Be At The School On Friday At 6:30 am Sharp With Hair And Part Of Make Up Done. We Will Quickly Stretch & Run Through The Routine. You Will Be Excused From Class At 8:00 to make any last touch ups. You will be excused from class but make sure you get caught up. There will be 2 assemblies one right after the other. For the Football Game Please Meet In The Dance Room At 6:15 pm Sharp! Here Is A List Of The Items You Need To Bring/Wear To School On Friday.

Costume - Tan Dance Shoes, Tan Tights, Blue Spandex, Black Spandex, New Top, Tan Sports Bra, Warm Ups (Your Are Wearing These To School With Yellow Shirt Under)

Hair: You Will Be Doing Your Hair In The Mohawk So Please Make Sure It Is Secure And Looks Nice. Bring - Bobby Pins, Hair Bands, Hairspray, and Brush ( Please Make Sure To Come With Hair All Done)

Make Up: We Will Be Switching Up The Eye Shadow A Little Bit For This Performance But Come To Practice With Base, Eyeliner, Eye Lashes, and Blush On. We Will Only Have Time To Do Eyeshadow And Lip Stick. If You Don't Come 100% Ready You Will Receive A demerit. Make Sure You Bring All Your Make Up So You Can Do Touch Ups.

If You Are Doing Flag Make Sure To Bring Your Saber.

Car Wash

Spinnies As You Know The Car Wash Is This Saturday From 10-2 at The Zions Bank In Magna! YAY!! Just So You Know This Is A Team Fundraiser Not An Individual Account One. This Fundraiser Will Be Going Towards Costumes For Lyrical And The Rest Of The Money That We Had To Spend On For REAL So You Didn't Have To Pay The Full $35.00 per girl! About A Month Ago You Received Your Tickets For The Car Wash So You Had Plenty Of Time To Sell, So I Really Hope You Are Not Having Your Mom Or Dad Buy All Your Tickets. Remember Any Tickets You Have Not Sold You Will Have To Run A Mile Per One After Practice. So Get Busy You Have Until Tomorrow At 7:00 p.m. To Have The $ For Your Tickets In My Hand! :) This Car Wash Is Going To Be Awesome. Thanks To All The Help From The Booster Club For Your Great Ideas. Spinnakers You May Wear Your Swimsuit To The Car Wash But You MUST At All Times Be Wearing A Tank Top And Shorts Over Your Swimsuit! You Will Also Need To Bring A Camping/Folding Chair, 5 Old Dry Towels To Use To Help Dry The Cars, & 1 Dozen Baked Goods Individually Wrapped (Cookies, Brownies, Cupcakes, etc.) We Will Be Selling Baked Goods And Drinks. You Will Be Expected To Be On Your BEST Behavior At All Times. You Will Be Representing The Spinnakers And Must Be Respectful To Not Only Your Costumers But To Each Other And The Parents That Are Helping. Sara And I Have A Mandatory State Meeting We Have To Attend And Are Hoping To Make It For The Last Hour Of The Car Wash But The Parents There Will Be In Charge And If I Hear Of Any Problems You Will Automatically Receive 2 Demerits. (There Are Some Girls Who Have 3 Already So 2 More And You Wouldn't Be Able To Dance For The First 6 Weeks Of The Quarter) So Please Make Sure You Are All On Your Best Behavior And Have A Super Fun Day. Sophomore Orientation Performance Info

Hey Ladies Here Is All The Info You Will Need For The Performance Wednesday! Orientation Starts At 10:00 am So We Will End Practice At 9:00 am And You Will All Finish Getting Ready At The School. You Will Only Have 45 Minutes To Get Ready (Make Up And Changed Into Performance Outfit) So You HAVE To Come To Practice With Your Hair Done. You Will Be Doing Your Hair In A Low Slicked Twisted Bun Parted On The Left Side.(If You Don't Know How It's Time To Learn :) ) Make Sure You Have A Hairnet In And That Your Hair Is Slicked No Fly Away Hairs Please. We Will Be Doing The Make Up We Did For Parade So Make Sure You Have Your Eyeshadow, Blush, And Eyelashes. We Will Be Wearing Your Yellow And Blue Practice Outfit So Make Sure It Is Clean And Looks Nice. You Will Just Pack This And Put It On After Practice. You Can Wear What You Want To Practice On Wednesday Just Make Sure You Can Dance In It. Make Sure You Pack Tan Tights And Tan Dance Shoes and Make Sure They Look Nice. You Will Also Pack Your Warm Ups. Officers Will Be Doing Flag So Make Sure You Girls Bring Your Sabers. After The Performance You Will Be Excused To Leave And It Shouldn't Be Much Later Than 10:30 So Please Have A Good Attitude And Show Magna How Good You Girls Are. Busy Week

Dear Spinnakers make sure to rest up this weekend because you worked really hard this past week and have a busy week ahead. Here is a detailed schedule for you and your parents.

Monday: Practice 7:00-10:00 am

Tuesday: Practice 7:00-10:00 am (We will be doing our service project during practice so bring a heavy duty garbage bag and some gloves)

Wednesday: Practice 7:00-10:00 am

Thursday: Practice 7:00-10:00 am

Friday: Practice 7:00-9:00 am After practice go home and get all ready for pictures. Please don't be late for your scheduled time. We HAVE to stay on schedule. Officers please make sure someone is bringing a tent to change into and that if you are staying out there the whole time that you bring something to eat, water and stuff to touch up with. You will be wearing your yellow shirt with blue skinny jeans for the first team picture and then I will tell you know this week what your other one will be and what to wear for class pictures. Also make sure if you paid over the phone that you still bring your order form so they know what package you are. After the game I thought it would be nice if we grabbed something quick to eat and then tried to make it to the football game at Murray together as a team so the boys know you really do want to support them not because you have to. We probably would only make it for the last half so it wont be that long and then we will head home and you will go right to sleep because you will have already packed for Real before pictures :)

Saturday: REAL PEFORMANCE: YAY this day will be a lot of fun. I will have a packing list and a detailed schedule for you this week to put in your binders for REAL. Remember you need to have long dance pants and black gore boots. We will meet at the school at 7:15 am and head to Jordan High. We have a 2 hour lunch break so your officers and coaches thought it would be fun to go eat a nice lunch at olive garden sine you wont be able to eat dinner until after you perform. Like I said I will have a hand out this week that goes over it all but I did post a while ago the schedule Nikki sent me so if you need to look at it. Please do.

OK SO WE ONLY HAVE 10 DAYS UNTIL WE PERFORM AT SOPHOMORE ORIENTATION, AND 19 DAYS UNTIL WE DANCE AT THE HELLO ASSEMBLY AND FIRST FOOTBALL GAME. THAT TIME WILL FLY BY SO LETS MAKE SURE WE ARE READY TO SHOW MAGNA HOW GOOD THE SPINNIES ARE AND USE EVERY SECOND OF OUR PRACTICE TIME DOING OUR BEST! THANKS GIRLS. Girls I just wanted to let you know how proud I am of you. You truly have worked so hard this week and instead of giving up you decided to accept each challenge and let it make you a better and stronger dancer. Watching you girls tonight I feel like not only are you becoming better dancers but also better friends and a closer team. We still have lots of work ahead of us but you girls are on the right track and make me so proud and grateful to be your coach. Lets finish off Spinnaker week having the best time together possible as a team. Looking at the good not only in our selves but also in your teammates and truly looking at how far you have come in a week. You girls have already accomplished things that maybe a month ago you didn't think it would be possible. You girls are the best. Keep up the good work. Love ya.

Military Tryout Results

Here are the results from military tryouts today. I have 4 more spots I would love to fill if I feel that my alternates have earned it. Remember you girls are amazing and if you didn't make this dance you still have a possibility of getting put in. No body ever regrets working hard and I am not afraid to replace an alternate with someone who is in the routine who isn't working hard. Love you all and I'm so excited to watch you girls push yourselves to reach your full potential. Anyone who would like to go over their score sheets with me I would love to schedule a time with you so you can know what you need to work on.
