Packing List For Cali !!!
Here Is A Day By Day Packing List Along With A General Packing List. I Am So Excited Can't Wait To Spend 5 Days In Cali With You All!! XoXo
Wednesday: Most Important Thing Is A Picture ID so you can get on the plane. I will have all tickets. Remember we are meeting at 4:30 pm at the Southwest Airlines Check In. Wear Comfy Clothes and bring some stuff to entertain you on the plane. You can pack snacks but not drinks they will make you throw any liquids over 3.4 ounces that you try to carry on the plane with you. If you need to bring anything that is over that you will need to put it in your bag that you are checking. The flight is an hour and half then we are heading straight to the hotel. If you want pack a dinner or you can order pizza once we get to the hotel but we plan on just staying in, swimming, hanging out that night.
Thursday: Clothes To Dance In, Hip Hop Shoes, Socks For Contemporary, Water Bottle, Healthy Snacks To Keep You Fueled For The Day. After Dancing All Day We Will Be Going Back, Showering, and Going Out For A Team Dinner So Pack Whatever You Want To Wear That Night.
Friday: Disney Day - Pack Clothes That You Will Be OK In From Morning To Night Its Suppose To Be 68-70 degrees with a few rain showers possible so I would bring a jacket in case. Good thing about a little rain is that it means short lines but hopefully the rain will decide to come another day! Pack Sunscreen and I would try and put everything you need into a smaller purse or honestly a fanny pack so you dont have to get lockers.
Saturday: Six Flags Day - Same Thing Six Flags Opens A Little Later and Closes Earlier So We Wont Be There As Long But Still Prepare Like For Disney Weather Will Be The Same Maybe A Degree Or Two Warmer With Less Chance Of Rain.
Sunday: Beach Day - Pack Your Swimsuit, Sunscreen, and A Change Of Clothes For The Plane. The Weather Is Suppose to Be 70 Degrees With No Rain!

California Details YaY!!!
Wednesday April 6th: Our Flight Leave at 6:35 pm - Since the airport is so close the girls just wanted to meet there so we decided to meet at 4:30 pm at the Salt Lake Airport by the Southwest Airlines check in that way we have plenty of time. Girls please make sure you have a picture ID with you. The girls are allowed to check 2 bags for free that weigh under 50 lbs each and they can have a carry on. We are only going for 5 days so please only check one bag and have one carry on. If for some reason you need more than that please let me know. We arrive in LA at 7:30 pm their time. Our bus will be waiting there for us and will take us to our hotel. We are staying at the Holiday Inn in Northern Hollywood.(11350 Burbank Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601) The hotel has free WiFi, little refrigerators, and free breakfast every morning. There is also an outdoor heated pool. It is suppose to be in the 80's while we are there. I couldn't be more excited. This night we will just be getting settled at our hotel and getting to bed early so we are ready to dance our hearts out the next day.
Thursday April 7th: Dance Day - We will all meet down in the lobby at 11:30 am completely ready for all your dance classes and having already ate breakfast. Make sure to bring a water bottle and some snacks because you will be dancing for 4.5 hours straight. We will get to the edge about 30 minutes early so you can stretch before class starts.
Hip Hop - Havic - 1:00-2:30 pm
Contemporary - Megan Santell - 2:30 - 4:00
Jazz Funk - Nikka Kljun - 4:00-5:30
After dancing we will head back to the hotel which is not far away and get ready for our team dinner/shopping. After dinner we will come back and go to bed since we are getting up early for DISNEYLAND!!
Friday April 8th: Disneyland/California Adventures - We want to be there when the park opens so we can get both parks in that day. So we will be leaving around 7:00 am. The park opens at 8:00 am and closes at 11:00 pm so make sure you pack what you need because we will be there all day! xoxo
Saturday April 9th: Six Flags This park opens at 10:30 am and closes at 9:00 pm and we plan to be there all day as well. Its around 20 minutes away from our hotel so we will leave that morning around 10:00 am and should be back around 9:30 pm.
Sunday April 10th: Beach Day We are planning on going to Santa Monica Pier/Beach. This will be a good place to spend the day where we can enjoy the beach but also will have other things since our flight doesn't leave until 9:30 pm. Check Out Is At 11:00 am so we will probably be at the beach from 12:00-6:00 so make sure you pack a change of clothes for the plane because we are headed to the aiport right after the beach. We plan to be the airport at 7:30 pm. Since we are an hour behind we dont get in until 12:15 am Utah time. I am so sorry it is so late. Parents please let me know if you will be there to pick them up or if you would like me to arrange a ride for them home. This is going to be such a fun trip these girls definitely earned. If you have any questions or need help with anything please let me know. We will take good care of your girlies and we expect that they will be respectful and follow rules as well. Girls its your responsibility to let us know if girls are breaking rules. We have rules to keep you girls safe so please be responsible and lets all have fun. XoXo

Tuesday: Practice 1:00-2:10 - Working On Mini Spinnie/Mini Stud Routines - These will need to be passed off on Wednesday March 9th during 4th period! Below are the age groups you will be working with. Let me know if you have any questions XoXo

I wont be to practice tomorrow because Brindees lungs are flaring up so I need to keep her out of the crappy air and inside doing breathing treatments so Sara will be there with you tomorrow (Tuesday) and we will both be here Thursday to clarify in questions you may have about mini spinnies and all that jazz.

We Are Going To State BABY!!!!!
Here are the plans for this weekend. Let me know if you have any questions. Again, Spinnies, Sara and I couldn't be more proud of you. We have one more chance to show the judges that you can perform three flawless routines. This is your last chance we are busting butt and placing top 5!!XoXo
Tonight Practice From 6:30-9:00 pm
Tomorrow - We Will Meet In The Dance Room At 10:20 am We Will Do A Prestretch So When We Stretch Before Comp We Are Already A Little Warmed Up. We Will Head In The Gym At 10:40 am And Do Just Do Full Intent Mark Through For Each Routine And Have About 15 Minutes To Warm Anything Else Up You Want So You Feel 100% Confident Before We Head Down. We Will Get Time To Warm Up Once We Get There This Is Just An Extra Chance To Be That Much More Ready For Comp. We Are Leaving The School at 11:15 am and going to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory at Fashion Place Mall. The girls said they would rather go out then have another meal brought in so if this is going to be a financial burden on anyone please let me or Sara know and we will gladly help. We will do a motivational there and then we plan on leaving around 1:45 so we can get to UVU at 2:30 pm. We cant check in until 3:00 but we want to be there early so we can get up top again by the dance room. Check in is at 3:00 we will get all situated then we will have you girls do a re stretch for 20 minutes. At 3:30 we will have you start getting ready for military, touching up hair and make up, getting costume on, all that good stuff. When Sara and I get back from checking in music and props and our coaches meeting it will be around 4:30 we will then have an hour until we do military so we will start getting warmed up and getting ready for that. State Week!!! YAY!!!!!!
Hey Loves Here Is The Schedule Up Until Thursday but Keep Friday and Saturday Open because we are going to State I will just post the details after Semi Finals. XoXo
Monday - No Practice But I Expect Your To Perfect 2 of the 3 F's - Feet and Finishing Sharp Movements.
Tuesday - Practice 1:00-5:00 pm
Wednesday- Walk Through/ Motivational 6:30-8:30 pm
Thursday - Meet In The Dance Room at 6:45 am - Come in team warm ups with black hoodie underneath, tights on, and team shoes.... you do not need to be taped but you do need to have your hair done and glitter/lashes on so all we have to do is touch up before we compete. We will do a formation walk through in the morning a motivational/ yummy breakfast then will get on the bus at 8:30 to head down to watch the morning pods. This will give us time to watch formations and get in that mindset. I am trying to order us lunches... if not we can take two coolers so I might have you pack a lunch or you can buy something there. I will keep you posted. Also I will have a packing list posted on her tomorrow morning. The times you dance are.

Friday and Saturdays Schedule For This Week!! YAY!!!
Hey loves here are the details for Friday and Saturday please let me know if you have any questions. Cali please text the team what to wear to school Friday xoxo
Friday - Meet in the dance room at 3:30 pm with hair in perfectly slicked sock bun (we aren't spraying) and all competition makeup done except lips and blush. I will give you time to change into military and tape but come to practice in black tights, black spandex, black practice tank. We will warm up and practice until 5:00 - at that time I will excuse flag group 2 to get warm ups on, black gores, and Sabres for flag. Everyone else will go get changed into military and tapped. We will perform around 5:45. After performance we are changing into any Spinnaker attire you want grabbing our stuff and heading to Cali's for dinner and unity. I need you to text me tonight what your most favorite thing from Café Rio is with details (like black or pinto bean, etc.) If I do not have your order by tonight you will get whatever I order you. xoxo Remember we are doing our WOWS during our unity time, so please don't forget to bring yours. I plan to be done between 8:00-8:30 pm so you can all be home and in bed by 9:30 asleep by 10:00 your bodies need at least 6-8 hours of sleep so they can be at their best tomorrow especially your brain. No mistakes can happen so if you rest your brain you are giving it the chance to be its best for region. I will be texting your parents to make sure you are all in bed by 9:30.
Saturday - REGION DAY!!!!
Meet at Cyprus at 7:00 am in the dance room we will have a motivational video to watch while we eat breakfast. You need to arrive with hair done (it needs to be the most perfect its ever been and it needs to be sprayed we wont have time when we get there) Make up needs to be done except lips and blush and that also needs to be perfectly done. You will perform how you feel so if your hair and make up are flawless you are starting out the day good haha. You need to triple check your bags and make sure you have everything because there is no time for mom or anyone to bring you anything. Please arrive taped, with tan tights on and black tights on, team professional warm ups with hoodies on underneath and gold boots. Make sure nails are clipped with no polish on at all.
Below is the packing list!! Please make sure you wash and perfect all costumes if something needs to be sewn up, clipped off, or cleaned please do it. Once again you need to make sure you look and feel your best for this day.

Region Week!!! So EXCITED!!!!
Hey ladies. Here we are. Region week is upon us and I couldn't be more excited. It is a very busy week but we only have 3 weeks of competition season left so lets give it all because you ladies have what it takes to be champions. I am so proud of you and cant to see the rest of the progress we make this week. Please let me know if you have any further questions not listed below. XoXo
Monday - They aren't opening the school until 8:00 am and we have to leave at 9:20 am for marking the floor so we will review formations and showmanship in our gym before we head over to hillcrest to mark the floor there. I take pictures of each formation and send it to you so you can study it for the week. After we mark the floor its tradition to go have a team lunch at Olive Garden. So please bring money for this. If you need help please let me know. We will eat lunch around 11:15am and plan to be back around 1:00 pm.

This Weeks Schedule XoXo
Hey loves I hope you had a great weekend. Remember these next two weeks will be intense practices but will be what we need to be at our best for region. I love you girls and know you can accomplish anything you set your mind too. Give all your focus to beating your best and reaching your potential these next two weeks and it will happen. I honestly believe in each and everyone of you with all my heart. Love you to the moon and back.

Tuesday - Performing Military at the Girls Game meet at 5:45pm completely ready minus blush and lips. We are not spraying hair but please hand wash your costumes and headbands so they look nice.

BACK TO THE GRIND!!! YAY!!!!
Hey loves I hope you enjoyed every second of your break because you deserved it. I couldn't be more excited to get back to work. 3 weeks until region and I know if we keep the mentality to beat our best every single day region will be amazing you are already back and forth with Hillcrest so lets work harder than ever with pure focus so we can give our absolute best January 23rd and end up on top! Monday - We need to get our changes learned and in the gym so sorry for the late notice but we are practicing from 5:30-8:30 pm. Remember how changes can be stressful but please be respectful, trust, and work hard so its a successful practice.

If you have work and absolutely cant get out I understand or any other prior commitment but this is a fun day just watching and learning together. We will be back around 5:00. You do not need to pay to get in but you will need to bring money if you want any food. xoxo
