If you have a star by your name you are the group leader and you are in charge of making sure
everyday is planned out and organized. Everyone bring music ideas Tuesday morning to practice and you can vote as a group everyone is require to bring a song idea and if you don't you will get a demerit.

Thursday - Long Sleeve Spinnaker Shirt, Tight Warm Up Pants, Hair Pulled Back, No Jewlery Looking Professional 

Remember to run your clinics like a dance class, be organized, be prepared, make it a great experience for these cute kids

Mini Spinnie/ Spinnie Stud Information

Mini Spinnie/ Spinnie Stud Clinics will be Tuesday March 3rd - March 5th from 6-8 pm. Sign Ups will be Tuesday March 3rd from 5-6 pm. If they can not be their to the sign up just make sure someone can turn in their money, shirt size, name, and age. The cost is $25.00 per dancer or $45.00 per for more than one dancer from the same immediate family. We are allowing dancers from 3-12.

Each dancer will get one free ticket to make sure they have someone their supporting them they will get the ticket the last night of clinics along with their shirt and a parent note.

I have to run an do my appointment but right after I am done I will post who is teaching what group. Love you girls. Thanks for being patient with my busy life these last couple days xoxox

Spinnaker Review Information

Spinnaker Review will be March 6th starting at 6:00 pm - Tickets will be $5.00 a person - 3 and under are free- The Spinnakers will each get two free tickets to make sure someone is there supporting them on their big night, we also require each girl to pre-sale 5 tickets. This is not a hard thing to do tons of people come to the Spinnaker review but please let Sara and I know if you need any help. I challenged the girls to sale 10 and everyone that sales 10 or more gets a prize.

Girls just a reminder I need your picture either head shot or action shot by Thursday along with your favorite quote and the names of who will be escorting you. Seniors I also need your write up.

The Spinnakers are allowed to sale ads for the Spinnaker program to help them raise more money for their account/team trip. The ads are a great way for business's to advertise. The prices are as follows for a 1/4 a page its $25.00, for 1/2 page its $50.00, for a full page its $100.00 the full amount goes into the girls account so motivate them to get out and sale its such an easy fundraiser. Parents are also allowed to put ads in if you are wanting to give your girl a shout out. The money you pay for the ad would go directly to your account. I need all ads emailed to me no later than Friday.

Parents we need help with the following... If every parent can help in some way that would be greatly appreciated. Also if I have one parent that wants to kind of take charge and delegate out that would help me tremendously. We need the gym decorated for The review so we will need a lot of parent help on that. Also I am wondering if anyone know who we could order t shirt from for mini spinnies that would be a great deal. I know alot of you have connections I would just need someone who can print them in just 4 days notice and be a reasonable price. If you could let me know that would be great.

This Weeks Schedule

Monday - Presidents Day - Enjoy the Day Off

Tuesday - A Day - It is Senior Night for Boys Basketball so we will be doing Blood Alley for them and performing Military for halftime. Please meet in the dance room at 5:00 pm with hair already done (not spraying), Black Tights, Black Spandex, Black Tank w/ Pirate on. I will give you time for make up(comp make up) and taping. Please make sure to bring your professional warm ups with black gore boots, and sabre. Also your military costume and headband. We will do blood alley around 6:45 and perform around 7:35 after I will excuse you girls.

Wednesday - 7:00-8:30 am - Come and start working on your class routines for review. You need to make up a 1-2 minute routine with the girls in your class so I am giving you this time to really work and get things done because next week we will be working on Mini Spinnie stuff.

Thursday -  5:00pm - Team Meeting
                   5:30-8:30 pm - Reviewing/Cleaning all dance routines for Review

Friday - 7:00-8:30 am - Last day to work on class routines at practice

I will be posting a ton of info on review and Mini Spinnies this week so make sure to check the blog almost everyday this week.

For your class routines I need to hear your song choice before Wednesday morning so you don't waste practice time trying to pick a song. If you cant decide send me what your options and I will help.

Spinnakers just a reminder this is a moritorium week so no practice until next Tuesday at 5:00 pm in the dance room starting to get ready for end of year show. Also I will have statements and info for mini Spinnies! Have a great week off and be ready to work hard next week.

Team Trip Final Details

Sorry it took forever our travel agent had a hard time trying to find a hotel to fit all of us because of it being spring break for some areas but we finally have our bids and are ready to go. Parents you are welcome to come on the trip and am more than happy to give you Lisa's contact info so you can coordinate everything with our schedule. I am sorry I can't just have us all pay together again. We can get a bus for parents and it will be the same price if we can get at least 35 parents that want to take a bus. Let me know. Here is the following itinerary.

Wednesday March 25th - Leave Cyprus High School at 2:30 pm - We will only make a few stops at gas stations- so please make sure to pack a dinner to eat on the bus. We are planning to arrive to our hotel in Anaheim California (The Embassy Suites on College Blvd.) around 12:00 am. We will get checked into our hotel and all go to sleep in nice comfy beds.

Thursday March 26th - We will be heading into LA for a Day of Dancing. Our first class is at 11:00 and it will be an awesome Contemporary Class, Next Class is at 1:00 - It is Hip Hop with Havic that class will end around 2:00 then we will have a 2 hour lunch break. Then we will come back for our last class at 4:00 pm - Which is a Jazz Funk. After that class we will head back to the hotel. Get cleaned up and go spend the night shopping and eating dinner in Downtown Disney.

Friday March 27th - The Day Will Be Spent In DISNEYLAND!!

Saturday March 28th - The Day Will Be Spent In California Adventures!! WAHOO!!

Sunday March 29th - We will get up eat breakfast get checked out and head down to San Diego Where we will spend the day at Sea World. After Sea World we will head to the Beach to enjoy the ocean and have a Bon Fire with some Team Unity. We will be staying in a hotel in San Diego the Comfort Inn and Suites that night.

Monday March 30th - Wake Up, Eat Breakfast, Pack Up, And Head Home Around 12:00 pm to put us home around 10:00 pm.


Cost Breakdown

Transportation: $180.00 per girl (6 Days)
Lodging: $150.00 per girl (5 Nights)
Dance Classes $40.00 (3 Classes)
Disney Land and California Adventures $150.00
Sea World - $70.00

Total to be paid to account $590.00

Food seperate money you need to bring with you it cannot be paid for with your account. I estimated about $30.00 a day which was a total of $150.00. Breakfast is free the entire trip and its a good yummy breakfast. Lunch I guess about $10.00 and dinner $20.00 thats up to you just a guesstimation. Also you will want to send spending money and that also is totally up to you.

State Information and Time

WAHOO!!!! We have the times for state. Parents you can purchase your tickets online at uhsaa.org under winter sport, then click on drill, the scroll down to state info. 
Doors open at 9:30 am. The competition starts at 11:00 am. The Spinnakers will perform Military at 11:30, Dance at 2:30, and Kick around 4:50. Please come support it gives the girl the confidence and energy they need when they look up and see you all cheering for them. They are determined to beat their best and I can't wait to see them compete 3 flawless routines. Please let me know if you have any questions. xoxo

The Girls Will Receive a Boxed Lunch but still it is a long day so you might want to pack them snack or give them money to purchase snacks. :)

Friday - State - Wahoo - I will have exact times tomorrow but here is the basic info for state


        You will come to practice with your hair 100% ready we will do make up after. I will tell you what to wear when I post more details about state Tuesday.     Practice 6:00-7:00 am, then we will do make up and get on the bus leaving Cyprus at 7:45 you will get breakfast. Team check in starts at 8:30 - parents doors open at 9:30 - comp starts at 11:00. I will post tick info times and all the rest of the details Tuesday! Let me know if you have any questions.
