Last Minute Parade Details and Changes

Dear Spinnies and Parents,

                                There has been a slight change in our schedule for Thursdays parade. We will not be able to get into the school that day, so it is each girls responsibility to make sure she comes with the following items on looking PROFESSIONAL. You need to have your hair perfectly slicked (remember slick side not back) in a low pony so right at the base of your neck parted on the left. You need to apply sunscreen everywhere and on face before you do make up. Once sunscreen is on make sure you wear some type of foundation or base make up. Then put on your fake lashes with a little bit of mascara to make them pop. You also need to arrive with your blue dresses on, black spandex under, tan bras, tights, and gore boots. And of course your sabre. We will now be meeting in the church parking lot (3100 South 8400 West) at 10:45 am SHARP. We then at that time will have girls applying eyeshadow on you, and you will do your blush and lips so make sure you bring a little mirror. After make up is all done we will warm up sabre then try and stay cool until the parade starts at 12:00 pm. Parents they will not let you park at the church only drop off so if you need to park you need to park back at the high school and walk. The parade ends at the senior citizen center so if you would like to pick your daughter up at the end of the parade that's where you need to. Pack everything you need before parade in your team sling bags and after you are done with make up you can put your bags in my car and I will lock it up and I will hurry back to my car after parade for those who need to get their stuff and go. 

The Spinnakers are position number 52 in the parade. I am really excited for parade.You girls have worked hard. Your awesome blistered hands are proof. If you would like to tape your hand for parade or wrap it that's a great idea just make sure its a tan color. Also if you have tape on your sabre to help from sliding it has to match the black on the handle. Please let me know if you have ANY questions regarding parade. After parade you are excused and I will see you all August 5th. Please be smart and safe over the summer. Remember I always fund out about everything you girls are doing so be on your best behavior.
